Description

This is a collection of thirty-nine scary short stories where the suspense builds. The book is named after one of the stories - the Black Door Room. The phrase “the Black Door Room” is a metaphor for horror, scary campfire stories.
This is great reading for fans of campfire stories. It consists of so-called children's folklore, the purpose of which in human culture has always been to prepare the younger generation for adult life. Ghosts, the Grim Reaper, vampires, killer dolls and other "characters" from the list of "the greatest fears". This is a traditional structure of one-page stories spiced with some humor.
Parents will definitely evaluate the humorous irony (for example, the family man is suspicious about the meal and offers it to his wife’s relatives first. So if anything happens it will not happen to him and he will get rid of annoying parents-in-law; or the story of Pushkin’s wife, who was a real beauty. Pushkin was not killed in duel, but his wife ate the poet).
