Description

Soviet inventive thought developed in a unique way. Inventions of that period were mostly concentrated in areas such as space exploration, military technology, and science, with the USSR achieving major breakthroughs in rocket science and fundamental research, while also producing some unexpected everyday innovations. This book has two main objectives: first, to objectively recount the inventions made during the Soviet era without understating or exaggerating their merits; second, to present these inventions within the context of the USSR, explaining its distinctive approach. Naturally, the book also scientifically dispels many myths associated with Soviet invention history.
