This story is a delicate blend of fact and fiction. While many people remain steadfastly convinced that extraterrestrials either do or do not exist, that debate is gradually coming to a shocking and disturbing end. The truth, or even a substantial part of the truth, is being revealed through the process of full or partial Disclosure.

We stand at the threshold of a major leap in our civilization. A small group of people have already made the transition into a "Star Trek" level of technology and space exploration, leaving the rest of us in ignorance and the bondage of a world dependent on fossil fuels. The elite of this world revel in secret delight at the new technologies, new worlds, and alien beings that the rest of us see only on TV programs or in movies.
But the barrier between us and the higher, more advanced knowledge enjoyed by the few, is unraveling more and more each day. Profound advances, including the healing of all diseases, free energy, and interstellar travel are all but a heartbeat away.
I've tried to capture the essence of that transition in this story. While the characters are fictional, for the most part, the technology in this story is real, as is the basic story itself. I'll leave it up to you to decide where the dividing line between fact and fiction resides.
