Description
Berlin in autumn 1932. The lawyer Eugen Goltz travels to New York on behalf of the banker Philipp Arnheim to settle the divorce from his American wife Florence. There he learns about a mysterious "pharaoh", the head of an occult secret society in Berlin, which seems to be connected to the National Socialist movement. Author
born in 1956, studied law in Marburg and has worked as a lawyer in Hildesheim since 1986. From 1991 to 1994 he also worked in Berlin-Köpenick. With his historical Berlin thrillers around the lawyer Eugen Goltz he became known to a wide readership. The crime novel »Before Dying Big« about the dancer and agent Marion Bendt is his latest Berlin crime thriller from the time of the Third Reich. Bernward Schneider is married and has two children.
