Director Marksteiner from Floridsdorfer Gymnasium wrote a biography about Adalbert Stifter, he got the information for it in a lecture at the University of Vienna. When he wants to meet a student to borrow her lecture notes, he finds her dead. His presence next to her body quickly made him the prime suspect. Leopold, at the same time head waiter, hobby detective and also Marksteiner's friend, tries to prove his innocence, but the closer he gets to the solution, the more he realizes that the case is more complicated than expected ...

Hermann Bauer
was born in Vienna in 1954. He spent thirty important years of his life in the Floridsdorf district. While still at school, he began to take an interest in billiards, tarot and the nearby café, Café Fichtl, whose regular Bauer stayed for a long time. From 1983 to early 2019, he taught German and English at BHAK Vienna 10. He participated in 13 performances of the theater group in his school. When Herman Bauer married his wife Andrea in 1993, he left his home district for her sake.
