Description

Global warming is the big environmental issue of this century. Science is clear about this: within a few centuries we need to demolish the current energy system and build a new one, based on efficiency and renewable resources. However, we are not doing it fast enough, and we keep postponing and accumulating delays. By now it’s clear that fear and sense of guilt have not been not sufficient to motivate people, companies, politics and society to a change of behaviours. But we could get the right impetus to overcome this paralysis through the vision of a different possible future. Il clima è (già) cambiato describes with scientific rigour as well as irony the positive aspects that can be glimpsed in the incredibly complex and severe issue of global warming. Stefano Caserini, with his usual scientific rigour and irony writes that “the history of the XXI century human beings and the way they have changed the Earth climate has not been written jet. The choices we’ll make in the next decades count a lot.”
