Description

StoryWorld Set 2 opens up a world of story and information. Carefully selected folk tales are accompanied in a flip-book format with non fiction text about the country and culture they come from. StoryWorld Set 2 is not only a literacy and social studies resource, it also promotes empathy, understanding, compassion, and critical thinking.

Set 2 of StoryWorld includes traditional tales from Iran, Philippines, Romania, New Zealand, Tonga, Punjab – India/Pakistan, Armenia, Vietnam, Ethiopia, and Tibet. Presented in a flip-book format, titles in StoryWorld
Set 2 include:
• A 24-page traditional tale with full colour, modern illustrations
• An 8-page information section exploring the country/culture of origin in a range of formats: non-fiction reports, photo essays, tourist sales information, journals, procedural texts, and short facts.
• A separate literacy level is given for the 24-page tale and the 8-page information section.
