Description
Author
The two authors are cousins and live in Switzerland. This book is their first joint project.
"In the years 2017-2019 my cousin Marina Bonnot-Schiavi and I, Rita Schiavi, often met at my mother's home in the nursing home. When Marina showed me pictures that she had painted for her grandchildren, the project of a joint picture book arose. The book appeals to children through the beautiful, colorful pictures. It is also intended to convey what species-appropriate animal husbandry means, why certain animals, for example parrots, are not suitable as pets and what the deforestation of the rainforest does to animals.
