Description

The greatest history book, textbook of anthropology, a treasure trove of figures, the Talmud of the East, and the best drama of mankind, as much as the amount of the modifier describing this book, the immortal classic Records of the Grand Historian has been quested by numerous people. However, since it is a series of the vast record of 130 books and 56,500 words, anyone could not easily attempt to read the classic. Records of the Grand Historian: The Comics is a good introductory guide to unfold Records of the Grand Historian that had been on the must read list. This book is framed around the main beauty of Records of the Grand Historian, “historical biography” and takes “biographic sketch of an emperor” and “aristocratic family” to capture the context of Chinese history. While sticking to the original text, it vividly unfolds the psychology of characters and the development of events by taking advantage of the cartoon. Lee Heejae has an artist’s opinion that when it comes to cartoon, “the comical humor should be added.” So there is no reason to postpone reading Records of the Grand Historian: The Comics.
